On Friday 8th November, Dave Rockett (from Northern Gas Networks) visited school, he came to teach us about Net Zero (the project to save the planet). He brought hydrogen toy cars in to show us that they are more environmentally friendly to the planet than petrol cars. He taught us about how important it is to save energy and shouldn’t waste it, e.g use more renewable energy. An example of saving energy is don't leave the lights on all day long if you are not in the room or any electrics on when you are not using them. He also worked with KS1, Robins and Swallows, and led a parent session with Year 3. A big thank you from us Dave!
