Year Six pupils at Kildwick Primary School took part in a career morning to introduce them to a variety of jobs.

Several local businesses were involved, along with representatives from the NHS. Five Landis, Rolls Royce and Destination Travel Agents were some of the companies represented. Businesses ‘Thread of Life’ and ‘InspirEd’ also attended to represent self-employed companies.

Peter Wardyn, apprentice and training manager at Fives Landis, said “It was such a lovely event and the students were really interested in what we do.”

The event really inspired all of our children and made them aware of a wider range of careers. Many children were particularly interested in the engineering opportunities presented by Fives Landis and Rolls Royce.
