We celebrated World Toilet Day by raising money to provide a toilet for people in less fortunate countries. The countries that the children chose were: Afghanistan, Indonesia, Nigeria, South Sudan, Uganda and Zambia.
In order to raise the money, children took part in a variety of activities including a bake sale, toilet themed games and paying to pee. Mr Whitehead even got sprayed with 'toilet water' as part of one of the challenges!
We will soon receive a picture of the toilets that we have funded to put on display in our school toilets as a reminder of how fortunate we are to have access to clean, safe toilets.
