Keeping Safe is one of our PSHE topics this half term and GEM Compliance Training visited school this week to teach the children some first aid skills. They learnt about personal safety during casualty treatment and how to recognise unconscious casualties. They practised bandaging wounds to the head, arms, leg and hands and also putting arms into slings. The children put each other into the recovery position and carried out CPR on manikins.
