Power Down Pete (from NYCC) visited school on Thursday 13th January. He worked with each class on environmental issues such as recycling, saving water and energy and the problems with plastics. I learnt that the new Co-op bags are actually made from maize….amazing! He will be returning to school to work with a group of children on saving and conserving energy within our own school!
