Singing Workshop

On Friday 15th November we took 23 members of the school choir to a singing workshop at Christ Church in Skipton. They made up part of a choir of about 100 children from other schools in the area, which made for a terrific sound. They were singing songs about pirates, dinosaurs, kindness, togetherness, resilience and even a seagull! At the end of the day they put on a performance for an audience made up of families, friends and Skipton locals. It was very well received and we greatly appreciative of all the positive comments about our children's singing, and also impeccable behaviour. Thank you to the Skipton Festival organisers for putting this event on, we hope to join them again next time! The picture below shows the Kildwick children gathering around Steven Roberts, the conductor, for an impromptu rehearsal during the lunch break - a very proud moment!
