We loved having a visit from the North Yorkshire Rotters at the start of this half term. The North Yorkshire Rotters, known as the Rotters, promote home composting and reducing waste, reusing and recycling. We always talk about the importance of being more 'Eco friendly' in school and Yorkshire rotters helped us learn even more by talking about reducing waste, saving money and helping the environment. We made our own wormery and we even got to take it home! The Yorkshire Rotters play a crucial role in climate change, promoting important initiatives like LoveFoodHateWaste, home composting, and recycling. Their work aligns perfectly with the aims of our Eco Warriors. By engaging with our school community, the Rotters are helping to educate and inspire our children to become responsible for looking after the environment.
