It's always great fun going on a school residential visit and it's the 'stuff' memories are made from!
It's an opportunity to take learning outdoors, deepen friendships and so much more...
During a child's time here at Kildwick they will have the chance to participate in two residential visits:
Our Year 4 pupils undertake a short residential visit to the High Adventure in Cowling. They have the opportunity to take part in outdoor and adventurous activities such as canoeing, caving and high ropes.
Our Year 6 pupils have visited places such as Castle Head in the Lake District, East Barnby on the Yorkshire Coast and this year they will be heading to the Bewerley Park in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Here pupils have fabulous opportunities to challenge themselves, support friends and learn teamwork skills. Activities include high ropes, caving canoeing, kayaking, wall climbing - to name just a few!
When organising our residential visits we look very carefully at the cost and allow parents to pay through installments. In cases of genuine financial difficulty school is able to apply for grants, on behalf of families, to cover costs. Please see the charging policy for further details.
