We have had a very busy Spring term and the children in Robins class have worked and played hard!

We have celebrated World Book Day and Science week along with the rest of the school. We also shared a Mother's Day lunch with a relative and played in school with them. We completed our DT project with our visitors and made a Maasai Necklace.

We have embraced our new phonic scheme and we are all making great progress following Little Wandle. We also enjoy taking home our sharing book to share with the adults at home.

Our Science topic all about plants gave us lots of opportunity to visit the 'Rec' this half term and we spent time investigating and understanding the world around us. We loved Jack and the Beanstalk and Jack and the Incredibly Mean Stalk as our books in English and we enjoyed planting our own beans in plastic gloves in the classroom!

After all this hard work Miss Akrigg wasn't surprised to see that on the last day of term a few of us decided to turn the tuff tray into a 'hot tub'! We all enjoyed our self named 'spa day' and finished the day off with Collective Worship in church to celebrate Easter. Not sure how we will relax at the end of next term with the Queen's Jubilee to celebrate, lambs to see, a Father's Day lunch, bike riding lessons, swimming (for Year Ones) Tennis (taught by an external Tennis coach), a visit from the local PCSO, a Buddy trip to the seaside (Reception only), our first ever Sports Day and on top of that we'll have to do all the tricky work Miss Akrigg gives us! Perhaps we will have to have a party?!

Well done Robins - you are amazing.

Happy Easter love from, Miss Akrigg
