I would like to offer you a very warm welcome to our school community here at Kildwick.

Our vision is simple: Learning to Live, Living to Love, Loving to Learn

At Kildwick CE VC Primary School we value the individuality of all our children. We are committed to giving all our children every opportunity to achieve the highest of standards in all that they do, underpinned by our deeply Christian ethos. We do this by taking account of pupils’ varied life experiences and needs. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum and have high expectations for all children. Their achievements, attitudes and well-being matter and we offer them the opportunity to discover their gifts and talents given to them by God and experience ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10).

Our partnership with you is important, as we work together to enrich our children’s lives academically, spiritually and socially.

Spirituality is a universal human experience and is something that touches us all. It is a connection to something that is bigger than ourselves. It is about awe and wonder, asking ultimate questions and being inspired to look beyond ourselves and serve and care for others and nature.

Kildwick CE VC School serves children from the school year in which they are five years old, up to the age of eleven. The school has a pupil roll of approximately 140 pupils, organised into five classes. The school works closely with local cluster schools as part of the Castle Alliance.

As a Church School, we have close links with St Andrew’s Church and a number of other local churches. We aim to reflect Christian values in the everyday life of the school.

I hope that you will find our website interesting and informative and that it gives you a flavour of life at Kildwick School. If you are a prospective parent please contact us to arrange a visit to see our wonderful school in action. We look forward to meeting you
