Reception and Year 6 children had a buddy day at the beach last week. This is one of our favourite trips of the year! The Year 6 children are amazing role models to our Reception children throughout the year and sitting on the coach listening to them chat away to their buddies makes us extremely proud.
The children dug, buried each other and made sandcastles before having a picnic on the beach. This was followed by an ice cream. There were some very sad faces when it was time to go home and a few sleepy children on the coach!
Well done Year 6 and Reception, you were certainly learning to live, living to love and loving to learn (from each other). You were a credit to yourselves, your families and our school!
