Even though internet safety is woven through our curriculum and is taught every term we celebrated Safer Internet Day on 6th February with a visit to school from PCSO Keris Thornton. She spoke to every class about the risks of being online but then how to enjoy the internet safely. The youngest children talked about how to make sure the games they play are right for their age and also had a chance to try out some police uniform. The older children focused on social media usage - top tips and what to do when thinks go wrong. It was very useful to recap some things we knew already as well as find out about the latest online issues the police are dealing with. Thank you North Yorkshire Police.
