Year Six had an excellent time visiting Bradford Industrial Museum to experience what life was like for Victorian children. The class dressed up in Victorian outfits to make the experience authentic.

Children took part in activities that reflected what a typical day in the classroom looked like: prayers, hymns, and reciting times tables. The Victorian-style teacher also made the class complete calculations written on slates, use ink dip pens to write letters and participate in a drawing task.

After the classroom experience, the children looked around the museum and found out more about transport, the printing press and life working in a mill.
