British Science Week was marked by a visit for Zoolab. Stassia brought in some of her animals to help Years 3, 4 & 5 understand the concept of ‘time’ in the biological world. We started in the year 1780 and finished in 2100. Cockroaches, snakes, frogs, rats and tarantulas helped us understand that we humans need to look after the planet for ourselves and the other animals. Years 1 and 2 also met Stassia's animals and learnt what animals need to survive. Finally, Year 6 used or furry (and scaly) friends to discuss the concept of evolution. Thank you to parents and the PTA who supported this visit.
